2002 Traces of Conflict, Imperial War Museum, London. The culmination of a major interdisciplinary, faculty research project in collaboration with the British armed Forces and the Imperial War Museum. Work purchased for the permanent collection.

1985 Sculpture, Mercer Union, Toronto, Canada. Invited by a Canadian collective of artists to present a major one man show.
1985 Sculpture, Abbott Hall, Kendal, Cumbria.
1986 Sculpture at the Fruitmarket Gallery, Edinburgh. Major one person exhibition in tandem with a Gilbert and George exhibition.
1986 Artspace Gallery, Aberdeen.
1987 Seagate Gallery, Dundee.
1994 Sutton House, major installation of new work at "Sutton House" in London in collaboration with the National Trust and John Gruzelier Fine Art. Sutton House is a Tudor mansion in the east end of London. Invited by the National Trust to install new sculpture to contrast with historic interiors and stimulate debate about changing cultures.
1997 Binocular, an exhibition with John Mitchell from Reading University organised by the Svoboda Foundation which at the invitation of Vaclav Havel curates exhibitions in the Presidents Palace in Prague, Czech Republic.
1997 Exhibition of drawings and water colours at the Antonia Jannone Gallery, Milan, Italy. The Italian launch of Breath Poems and the original works.
2001 Nor Perchance, Acquarelli, Il Triangolo Nero, Alessandria, Italy. A one man exhibition at the invitation of a cultural association of writers, artists and academics in Alessandria, Italy.
